Understanding of projects like ZEC, Hype, Aster, etc.

- How are BYTE and FLYTE in AI Agents?

I remember sharing some thoughts on BYTE in a previous article, and I have looked into FLYTE but haven't followed up closely since then.

Overall, it's still too early to judge the value and potential of these two Agents. I'm still observing to see if they can be widely adopted in the future and whether they can generate real cash flow.

Currently, I rarely look at these individual AI Agents, except for a few that I find particularly interesting. Most of the others I just glance at and move on without much concern, as it's not very reliable to assess their potential right now.

- What do you think of ZEC?

Years ago, I participated in several well-known privacy coins, including ZEC, Monero, and DASH. However, I sold them all later on because I wasn't optimistic about their prospects.

These coins find it difficult to establish a complex ecosystem. Their long-term potential and value can only rely on widespread adoption. But I think the likelihood of them being widely adopted is very low, so I haven't paid attention to them since.

As for their recent surge, I suspect it's just a passing trend. I haven't participated at all and can't see how high they might go in the future.

- What do you think of Hype and Aster?

In this round, I have no interest in any DeFi tokens; I haven't participated in any of these emerging projects. None of them have an innovative point that excites me. They all seem to be trapped within the existing frameworks and focuses, and their innovations are merely adaptations within the ideas and structures set by the previous DeFi wave.

It's like the traditional automotive industry, which has been around for over 100 years. Even though established car companies still innovate and improve, all their innovations and changes occur within the old framework of fuel vehicles.

Such an industry has no novelty and leads to aesthetic fatigue.

But electric vehicles are different; they could not only disrupt the automotive industry but also the automotive service industry and potentially become a new emerging subfield of artificial intelligence. Such industries are interesting.

- What to do with the coins in hand given the current market? Should I start dollar-cost averaging if ETH drops back to $2500?

What should I do with the coins in hand given the current market?

As I have shared multiple times in previous articles, my approach is very simple: I just hold onto the coins I have, especially Bitcoin and Ethereum. In the current situation, I won't engage in the high sell-low buy strategy I used to, as I can't predict the market.

If ETH drops back to $2500, I will definitely continue dollar-cost averaging.

- In the last bull market, Bitcoin reached $69,000, and the entire ecosystem's total value seemed to be around $3 trillion. Now Bitcoin is over $100,000, but the total market cap is still around $3.4 trillion.

My understanding is that the fundamental reason for this situation is that this round of the crypto market lacks particularly outstanding innovations, so it hasn't truly sustained and attracted willing capital and talent to enter the ecosystem, nor has it generated lasting, real value and profit.

If I had to find some innovations that could be considered outstanding, I think the early inscriptions and the later AI + Crypto could count.

However, inscriptions did not develop, so that innovation was stillborn.

As for AI + Crypto, I believe the biggest achievement is the Virtual ecosystem. But even this ecosystem is still quite small and far from the ideal situation.

Regarding the financial institutions on Wall Street and their endless discussions about RWA, DAT, stablecoins, and the grand visions they paint, I can only say:

I won't repeat my old views on RWA.

I have always held a neutral attitude towards DAT; I don't dislike them, but I also don't particularly like them.

Stablecoins do have potential, but they are still quite far from generating explosive value, and it may take a year or so to see results. I believe that for stablecoins to see explosive effects, they need to be combined with the application of AI Agents, but it seems that the conditions are not yet sufficient.
