In around 2013, I took five 100-gram gold bars from China Merchants Bank to Hong Kong to sell. I found a Chow Tai Fook in Mong Kok, but they said they couldn't accept it and directed me to the main store, giving me the address. After some detours, I arrived at the main store and told the counter that I wanted to sell gold. The counter staff said to wait a moment.

After about 20 minutes, an old man who looked similar to a "grandpa" came over, put on his reading glasses, took out a touchstone, and rubbed it against each bar. Then he asked, "Do you mind if I cut it open?" If it was cut open, they would really buy it. I said it was fine, and a young guy came over with a large pair of scissors. After cutting it open, the old man took a look and said, "Let's buy it." The counter staff asked if they needed to cut the others, and the old man didn't even turn his head and said, "No need, just buy them all."

I returned from Luohu with over a hundred thousand Hong Kong dollars in cash, feeling quite nervous.
