The product manager of Twitter, Nikita, has just released the latest news, which is almost a devastating blow to the "mouth-to-mouth" track.

We are revising the developer API policy:

We will no longer allow any applications that reward users for posting on the X platform (such as "infofi").

This has led to an influx of AI spam and reply spam on the platform. We have revoked the API access for these applications, so your X experience should start to improve soon (once the bots realize they are no longer being rewarded).

If your developer account has been terminated, please contact us, and we will assist you in transitioning your business to Threads and Bluesky.
