📈Has the altcoin season restarted?

Aside from the rise of $BTC, many altcoins in my wallet that have been stagnant for years are starting to stir.

Which coins in your wallets have suddenly activated these days?

Does it feel a bit like that! Should we chase?

1️⃣Altcoin Season Index:

I specifically checked the Altcoin Season Index:

Currently at 34-43/100 (Blockchain Center / CoinMarketCap), far below the 75 threshold that confirms an altseason.

So over the past 90 days, BTC has still outperformed most of the Top 100 altcoins.

2️⃣Explosive attribute sector rotation:

Today's explosion is mainly concentrated in Restaking (EIGEN, ETHFI) + DeFi (ENA) + L1 (APT) narrative rotation. These coins have relatively low market caps (in the range of 100 million to 1 billion), and trading volume + sentiment can easily ignite, but they are also prone to high-level washouts or flash crashes.

Top gainers are mostly small-cap meme/new narratives, while mainstream altcoins are still oscillating or slightly following up.

So I believe it’s not a broad increase but rather a rotation + sector rotation.

3️⃣Current stage:

Therefore, I think that we are currently in the classic early signal where funds start to test high Beta altcoins after BTC rises (similar to the “BTC leads → Alt follows” cycle of 2021/2024).

However, the volume and sustainability are still insufficient to confirm a large-scale breakout. If you're chasing, you can only chase coins with clear narratives + increased volume, not just any altcoin.

Don’t chase randomly, and don’t use leverage; at this stage, it’s still crucial to protect your principal.
