With the launch delay, this solar eclipse has become a real possibility. However, Dragon is not designed for observing a solar eclipse. The view of the Sun from the cupola is normally blocked by the nosecone. The side hatch windows face the opposite direction away from the solar panel, providing no visibility of the Sun either. A manual pointing mode override may be required to watch this total solar eclipse.
