Bitnomial plans to withdraw lawsuit and launch XRP futures contract

According to Eleanor Terrett, after the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) agreed to withdraw its appeal against Ripple, cryptocurrency exchange Bitnomial plans to withdraw its lawsuit against the SEC. Bitnomial sued the SEC in October last year, with the focus of controversy being the SEC's claim of jurisdiction over the XRP futures contract that Bitnomial planned to launch. In addition, Bitnomial will officially launch XRP futures contracts tomorrow morning and has received approval from the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
