SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce: Crypto Working Group welcomes applications for reasonable exemptions and no enforcement action

According to a report by Golden Finance, after the first cryptocurrency roundtable meeting of the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Commissioner Hester Peirce shared some key points. She pointed out that the SEC needs to consider cryptocurrency trading separately from assets. Many cryptocurrency assets themselves are not securities, but the main issuance of cryptocurrency assets for financing purposes is securities trading. Therefore, the SEC is willing to accept inquiries about how to conduct such issuance in the form of registration or exempt trading. The crypto working group welcomes reasonable Task Force good reason requests for no action letters or exempt relief.
