Like @stoolpresidente, I’ve been trying to understand the Trump plan. I have to assume almost every country is reaching out, trying to work something out. But it seems the President is not yet ready and wants to see it through. But what is that exactly? The yield on the 10-year U.S. Treasury note hit under 4%. The 10-year Treasury yield is a key indicator influencing mortgage rates, corporate borrowing costs, and broader economic expectations. If @realDonaldTrump gets this down even further, he can refinance trillions of our debt and likely force Powell to reduce rates and initiate QE. After that, if Trump then cuts a deal with our trading partners, rolling back tariffs, it will cause the stock market, especially tech stocks, and bitcoin/crypto to explode. So far we’ve lost 10T in wealth in the stock market. But approximately 80% of the U.S. population does not own individual stocks. As you can see, I’m trying to see the glass half full!
