SEC approves Ethereum spot ETF option trading involving institutional products such as BlackRock, Bitwise, and Grayscale According to The Block, the SEC has approved option trading for spot Ethereum ETFs. In the "accelerated approval" document submitted on Wednesday, the SEC stated that it has approved Nasdaq ISE, LLC's application for iShares Ethereum Trust Options trading on BlackRock. The agency also approved NYSE American LLC's proposal for option trading on Bitwise Ethereum ETF, Grayscale Ethereum Trust, and Grayscale Ethereum Mini Trust. Bloomberg Intelligence ETF analyst James Seyfart wrote on X platform that the SEC's approval of spot Ethereum ETFs was expected. ETF Store President Nate Geraci stated that issuers are expected to launch a range of new products, including covered call option strategy Ethereum ETFs, buffer type Ethereum ETFs, and more.
