According to PeckShieldAlert, there were a total of 18 major cryptocurrency attacks in April 2025, resulting in a total loss of $357.11 million. This includes the unauthorized transfer of Bitcoin (resulting in a loss of $330.7 million) and the recovery of approximately $14.4 million from three projects: KiloEx, zkSync, and Term Labs. Other major events include the Loopscale attack (resulting in a loss of $5.8 million) and the MorphoLabs front-end attack (resulting in a loss of $2.6 million).
