TON Foundation launches new ecosystem support method, adopting internal hierarchical scoring system

According to the official blog, the TON Foundation has upgraded its ecosystem support plan and adopted an internal hierarchical rating system. The new plan focuses on five major areas: payment, simple DeFi, GameFi, Telegram in app economy, and AI. All applications will be processed through the TON Builders Portal. Champions "must meet multidimensional standards such as vertical domain adaptability, ecosystem fit, team experience, funding status, product quality, and user base. In the DeFi field, although high TVL has advantages, it is not the only selection criteria. Selected projects will receive priority support such as one-on-one guidance. Emerging Projects "provides access to a variety of support programs on the Portal, with support levels ranked based on internal ratings and team capabilities. The project is at different stages of development with varying growth potential. Data shows that by 2024, the number of TON ecosystem projects will increase from 150 to 350, and the number of DeFi protocols will grow by over 500%. The foundation has distributed over $1.5 million in grants and distributed 26 million Toncoins through The Open League. The new system will evaluate projects quarterly and dynamically adjust support levels.
