Oregon Attorney General Dan Refeld called Trump's tariffs illegal, reckless, and causing devastating damage to the economy, and his office is leading lawsuits in various states. Redfield stated in a statement, "This ruling reaffirms the importance of US law and that trade decisions cannot be made by the president on impulse." The White House has not yet responded.
