It is a bit like Google developing so much bleeding edge AI for years and sitting on so much talent and capabilities. It took OpenAI, who had little to lose compared to Google, to create a sense of urgency and also demonstrate that though the tech will be embarrassing at times, the time was now to apply the pressures of going mainstream to hone it. The Ethereum ecosystem has been heads down building layer after layer of enabling tech and scaling it for an epic decentralized future. It took a breakout from big brother Bitcoin and some nipping at our heels from little bro Solana to alert and orient the massive Ethereum ecosystem to re-prioritize, return to firing on all cylinders and kick in the afterburners. Ethereum is on fire like never before. We are about to onboard TradFi to Ethereum DeFi.
