On chain data shows that a user pledged $10.17 million USDC to Plasma and paid a gas fee of 39.15 ETH (approximately $99467), successfully becoming the first pledged address. By contrast, depositing $50 million in USDC at the address on the leaderboard only costs about $7.16 in gas.
