This vote stems from a scandal involving $45 million in Bitcoin, which was donated to the country by a convicted drug trader. In Wednesday's vote, the opposition party's motion to dismiss the cabinet only received 94 votes in support, failing to reach the majority required for the 200 seat lower house of parliament. This result allows the Fiala government to continue governing until the parliamentary elections scheduled for October this year.
