Today, together with the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, @alain_berset, we signed the Agreement on the Establishment of the Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine. Today’s Agreement and this Tribunal give us a real chance to ensure justice for the crime of aggression. We must send a clear message: aggression leads to punishment. And we must do this together — as all of Europe. The Hague is waiting for those responsible. There must be accountability. We are grateful to the Council of Europe for taking the lead in this process. Justice will certainly be restored.
