Recycles misinformation about Bitcoin water and eWaste issues - based on junk-science that been debunked (Cambridge, 2025 and Sai & Vranken 2023) 2. Talks about energy consumption without understanding that Bitcoin mining is a non-rival energy user 3. Talks about Ethiopia mining without realizing Bitcion is using energy that would have been wasted, and the profits are used to build out transmission lines - delivering more energy to more rural areas (source: https://www.ainvest.com/news/ethiopia-generates-55-million-bitcoin-mining-excess-hydroelectric-power-2506/) 4. Proposes carbon taxes on bitcoin mining, not realizing its the least carbon-intensive industry on planet earth (52.4% sustainable energy, Cambridge 2025) 5. Falsely suggests that Bitcoin mining conflicts with UN SDGs without supporting evidence, whereas peer reviewed study concluded the exact opposite "Bitcoin has the potential to positively contribute and even accelerate the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals” source: https://www.mdpi.com/2071-1050/16/18/7919 The content shows a lack of fact-checking, a lack of awareness of the subject (20 peer reviewed studies showing environmental benefits - source: https://x.com/DSBatten/status/1923014527651615182) and a lack of attempt to stay up to date with the domain of Bitcoin mining (recycling misinformation from 2021 based on widely debunked studies) My question for you @okx @wallet @OKX_Ventures @okxexplorer, is your fact checking similarly lacking across all content, or is this an exception that you will have the journalistic integrity to correct?
