Senate EPW Cmte voted 10-9 along party lines to approve David Wright's renomination to a new 5-year term on the Nuclear Regulatory Commission through June 2030. His current term expired June 30. He had served on NRC since 2018 & was appointed as chair by by Trump in Jan. He's expected to be reappointed to the NRC top post if confirmed.
