Blockchain domain registrar Freename completes $6.5 million Series A funding, led by Entr é e Capital

According to a report by Golden Finance, Freename, a blockchain domain registrar based in Zurich, Switzerland, announced the completion of a $6.5 million Series A funding round led by Entr é e Capital, with participation from Morphological Capital, Sparkle Ventures, Blockchain Founders Fund, Golden Record Ventures, former CEO of Coinbase Custody Aaron Schnarch, co-founder of Target Global Mike Lobanov, Rashwan Family Office, and others. The new funds are intended to support its unified Web2 and on chain Web3 digital identity ecosystems such as Polygon, Solana, Base, and BNB Chain, and enable traditional IP addresses and wallet addresses in a regulated manner.
