Very grateful to @HRF. It's because of their support that this year I've been able to do more work on the humanitarian benefits of Bitcoin.
Thanks to them, this year I've been able to
- write a major exposé of the IMF's tactics to try to counter bitcoin adoption outside the West
https://bitcoinmagazine.com/featured/how-the-imf-prevents-global-bitcoin-adoption-and-why-they-do-it
- put together a report on why bitcoin solves problems in authoritarian regimes that stablecoins can't
https://bitcoinmagazine.com/politics/bitcoin-vs-stablecoins-bitcoin-is-an-unreplicable-lifeline-in-authoritarian-regimes
- work alongside @dari_org to put together a first ever quantification of the number of refugees helped by Bitcoin (329,000 of the world's most vulnerable).
https://www.da-ri.org/articles/bring-only-what-you-can-carry
- Interview the legendary John Perkins about how Bitcoin can overcome monetary colonialism. John and I have become good friends, and last time we chatted we talked about the best exchanges to buy bitcoin on!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGY0OXzVivI
- appear on a few different podcasts talking about how Bitcoin solves problems outside the West that the IMF and World Bank create
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aeXUKLTX0vo

To be explicit, none of these actions would have been possible without @HRF's support.
And there's more to come!
