It started with laughter, continued with tears and ended with warm smiles. This is impact. Miss Rogers and her mother have faced more than their share of hardship. Serious illness, disability, and years spent in conditions that no one should have to endure. Yet they never gave up. This week, through the New Social Housing Programme, we handed them the keys to a safe, comfortable home where they will begin a new chapter filled with dignity, stability, and hope. This is the heart of the work we do. To lift Jamaicans out of substandard living conditions, to give our most vulnerable citizens the chance to live in comfort, and to ensure that no one is left behind. Every home we build is a statement that Jamaica cares for its people.
