According to a report by Golden Finance, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu stated that Gaza will achieve demilitarization and outlined five principles for Israel to end the war, namely the disarmament of Hamas, the release of all hostages, the demilitarization of the Gaza Strip, Israel's implementation of "overwhelming security control" in the Gaza Strip, and the establishment of an "alternative civilian government" that is neither Hamas nor the Palestinian Authority. Netanyahu also claimed that Israel had "no choice" but to "complete the task" and "defeat" Hamas. He said that 70-75% of Gaza is under Israeli military control, but Hamas still has two strongholds, one in Gaza City and the other in the "central camp". Previously, the Israeli Security Cabinet instructed the Israeli Defense Forces to "dismantle" these two strongholds. Netanyahu said that this is the 'best way' to end the war. He added that Israel will allow civilians to go to designated safe zones where they will receive "adequate" food, safety, and medical services.
