I know firsthand the struggles Jamaicans face to find a safe and affordable home. That’s why we committed to building 70,000 new houses, and we’ve already programmed 50,000 through the NHT, with the rest coming from the HAJ, the Social Housing Programme, and major developments like Bernard Lodge and Innswood. In our next term, we will go further, delivering 60,000 more housing solutions, expanding social housing with faster prefab systems, and tackling big yards and tenement yards so more families can live with dignity.
