Bitcoin mining company Terawulf signs AI custody agreement with Fluidstack, with first 10-year contract revenue reaching $3.7 billion
According to BlockBeats, on August 14th, Bitcoin mining company TeraWulf (NASDAQ: WULF) signed two 10-year HPC hosting agreements with AI cloud platform Fluidstack to provide over 200 MW of critical IT load at Lake Mariner data center in New York. The expected revenue for the first 10 years of the contract is approximately $3.7 billion, with an extension period of up to $8.7 billion if exercised.
Google will provide guarantees for Fluidstack's $1.8 billion lease obligations to support debt financing related to the project, and obtain approximately 41 million stock warrants, representing approximately 8% of the company's equity.
