We are committed to strengthening the enduring partnership between Kenya and the United States. Our relations are cemented by robust trade underpinned by the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA), a strategic partnership and cooperation in shared democratic values, counter-terrorism and defence. At the sub-national level, we are deepening our ties with the State of Nebraska in the US on various issues, including diaspora engagement, student and apprenticeship training, skills and technology transfer, tourism, agriculture and labour exchange. Witnessed the signing of a landmark MoU between the Government of Kenya and the State of Nebraska. It was signed by Kenya Diaspora Affairs Principal Secretary @roselinenjogu and Secretary of State of Nebraska @evnenforNE, State House Nairobi. This arrangement marks a significant step in expanding opportunities for Kenyans abroad and deepening people-to-people ties.(William Samoei Ruto, PhD)
