Strategic reserve LINK is accumulated in the Chainlink Reserve using offchain revenue from large enterprises adopting the Chainlink standard and from onchain service usage. Staking LINK helps support the cryptoeconomic security of the Chainlink Network via Staking, where participants commit LINK in smart contracts to back certain performance guarantees around oracle services. 5. Chainlink Rewards Eligible LINK stakers can participate in Chainlink Rewards, a program designed to incentivize active participation in the Chainlink Network.
