It all started when I saw a tweet from the lovely @vvickym2: one of the official mods from @SentientAGI shared the application form for the official Kaito. They said we could apply, so I did—and finally got in last night! Even shamelessly asked for an invite code, haha. @SentientAGI Time to dive in and actively participate. Let’s get this rolling. Testing out the following testnet and slowly exploring it. Currently, @SentientAGI is already live on Kaito, and it didn’t take long to climb near the top rankings. So, what exactly is this @SentientAGI that raised $85 million in funding? Sounds super cool, right? Such a game-changer. @SentientAGI is tackling one of the most urgent risks of our time: closed AGI. Closed AGI refers to general AI systems developed and operated privately by a few companies or institutions. Their code, models, training data, and usage rules are not publicly accessible. AGI must align with humanity and can never be controlled by a single gatekeeper. If it’s monopolized by a few companies, humanity’s future will be locked in the hands of a select few.
