The ETH capitulation dip to $1500s in April after 3 years of ETH underperformance relative to BTC and meme assets was hard on ETH holders. Probably the hardest conviction test they've faced. It was hard. They sold. They haven't bought back. ETH hit all-time-highs above 4,940 last month on the institutional bid, not retail. It was ETF flows and treasury companies. We're below $10k because crypto retail is still offsides on ETH. Former holders still licking their wounds. Those who entered crypto in 2021/2022 still think they can barbell their crypto portfolio and skip ETH. It'll take big moves to convince them otherwise, convince them that ETH isn't dead. So what happens next? I think the retail bid comes back above $5k, goes crazy above $7k, frantic at $10k, and absolutely psycho at $15k.
