In addition to their Stripe background (and financial backing), Circuit & Chisel has also received investments from Primary Venture Partners, ParaFi, and Coinbase Ventures. The ATXP protocol is designed as the 'HTTP protocol for AI agent payments,' aiming to address the lack of standardized communication protocols between AI agents.
