From the very first day Binance was founded, it’s been a bumpy ride, full of challenges and obstacles, but we’ve always managed to rise from the ashes. That’s why we hope that Binance users who were hurt during this market crash will have the chance to start fresh.
For those passionately speaking out, let them continue. They’ll slander us, attack us, and also promote us. The only thing we need to do is focus on our affected users and see what kind of help we can provide within our capabilities. We believe in 'actions speak louder than words.' Over the years, the only market intervention Binance has ever done is directly giving money to users—everything else, we leave to time.
This relief fund has been incredibly difficult to push forward. The funds could’ve been used to sponsor four racing teams, or even the Olympics. We could’ve bought millions of users, but airdropping to users might feel like a drop in the ocean and could even invite criticism like: 'Why are they giving out money?' 'If they can give out this much, they must’ve made a killing off us.' 'Look, they’re trying to buy us off with some cash.' We anticipated all of this. But there are even more users who silently support us, and even more cheering us on.
As long as the industry exists, Binance exists. We can’t stop doing the right thing just because of outside noise or fear of slander and defamation. Do good deeds, and don’t ask about the future.
