[NVIDIA and Deutsche Telekom Plan to Invest €1 Billion to Build AI Data Center in Germany] According to a report by Jinse Finance, sources reveal that NVIDIA (NVDA.O) and Deutsche Telekom are planning to announce a joint project to build a €1 billion (approximately $1.2 billion) data center in Germany. This initiative marks a significant step in advancing Europe's artificial intelligence system infrastructure. As per the plan, the two companies will share the investment for the project. Europe's largest software company, SAP, has already been confirmed as one of the first customers of the data center. It is reported that all parties are expected to jointly announce this plan in Berlin next month. The project will be equipped with approximately 10,000 advanced graphics processing units (GPUs). However, compared to similar global projects, it still falls short—SoftBank Group, OpenAI, and Oracle Corporation's joint data center development in Texas is expected to deploy 500,000 GPUs.
