XI SAYS HE’S ‘READY TO CONTINUE’ WORKING WITH TRUMP Chinese President Xi Jinping told U.S. President Donald Trump he is “ready to continue” their cooperation and praised Trump for helping end the war in Gaza. “I am ready to keep working with you to strengthen China–U.S. relations,” Xi said at the start of their meeting. Trump declined to answer a question about restarting U.S. nuclear testing before the talks continued behind closed doors.
