[ZK Nation Community Proposes Upgrading ZK Token and Introducing Burn Function] The ZK Nation community has released a proposal suggesting an upgrade of the ZK token contract to ZKTokenV3 and the introduction of a permissionless burn function. Voting will begin on November 13. The new version is a minimal extension based on ZKTokenV2, with added features including: any token holder can permanently burn their own tokens; addresses with the BURNER_ROLE can burn tokens from specified accounts; the contract will allow reading the maximum supply of 21 billion ZK tokens and enforce this cap when minting new tokens.
