Big technical step for Bitcoin DeFi from @build_on_bob. Native Bitcoin Vaults let users lock BTC directly on Bitcoin, borrow against their exact coins, and get the same BTC back on repayment. No wrappers and no custody tradeoffs. Less than 0.35 percent of BTC is used in native Bitcoin DeFi versus ~30 percent of ETH. Closing that gap points to a very large liquidity unlock. Open source stack targeting permissionless lending markets like Aave v4, Morpho, and Euler. Launch planned for early 2026 with BitVM security following later.(NekoZ)
