[Epstein Once Refused to Manipulate Cryptocurrency Prices Due to Ethical Concerns]
Odaily Planet Daily News: Newly unsealed documents disclosed by crypto journalist Kyle Torpey reveal that in August 2018, Epstein expressed ethical concerns about manipulating cryptocurrency prices during a conversation with Bitcoin developer Jeremy. As a result, he refused to participate in such transactions, stating that he preferred to fund other projects but did not want to be publicly involved in any ethical controversies.
Additionally, the documents disclosed an email sent by Brian Armstrong to investors in February 2016. In the email, Armstrong stated that Coinbase was working behind the scenes to promote a network upgrade to avoid being held back by 'early idealists' and anticipated advancing a 2MB block hard fork within the following one to two months. However, the hard fork ultimately did not materialize, with the last attempt being abandoned in the fall of 2017 due to it being perceived as primarily driven by corporate interests and lacking community consensus.
