According to a report by Hong Kong 01, the Hong Kong High Court jury has ruled that former senior manager of Huobi Group, Chen Bo-liang, is not guilty of all charges, including six counts of dishonest use of a computer and one count of money laundering, in a case involving the transfer of 4.999 million USDT, valued at approximately HK$39.18 million. The prosecution had originally accused the defendant of allegedly opening accounts under aliases in 2020 to conduct unrestricted dark pool trading and transferring funds to personal OKX and Binance accounts. Agreed case details revealed that several former senior executives of Huobi, including ex-COO Zhu Jiawei, refused to testify as prosecution witnesses.
