In this wave of Chinese concept stocks and Hong Kong stocks, I haven't held any underlying stocks, but I have quite a few call options. In a one-sided upward market, holding call options yields high returns, but today's intraday volatility has eroded my profits. Some out-of-the-money options are even still falling.

Many Chinese concept stocks have returned to the price levels of 1-2 years ago, and the short-term accumulated gains are quite high. If you hold a large number of Chinese concept stocks and are worried about a pullback, but also fear missing out on a big bull market, you can hedge by using put options on the Chinese index. I opened an ASHR 11 put option. The A-shares will be closed for the National Day holiday, and the market will reopen next Tuesday.
