After the live streaming function was launched, in less than half a year, this platform, originally aimed at creating wealth dreams, was gradually eroded by greed and extreme behavior. From harming animals to pornographic live streams, and even threats of violent crime, users, in a bid for attention and token value, have resorted to extreme measures, frequently crossing moral and legal boundaries, showcasing the ugliness of human nature, and leading this decentralized experiment to spiral out of control.
Such chaos has sparked dissatisfaction within the community, with many accusing this type of live streaming of ruining pump.fun, and even the meme wave itself. Even more disturbing was a child during a live stream threatening that if the token did not meet expectations, he would harm his family, and even threatened to commit violence at school.
These behaviors played out on pump.fun, with some users even cheering on these actions in the comments section, each click further escalating the extreme behavior. These events transformed pump.fun from an innovative decentralized platform into a breeding ground for violent performances.
Inappropriate behavior in the live streaming room did not stop there. Some users took advantage of the platform's lax review mechanism to conduct pornographic content live streams, even using animal abuse to attract attention.
Faced with the out-of-control live streaming content, community members' anger accumulated and erupted, openly expressing their disgust towards pump.fun's live streaming function.
