MegaETH is an EVM-compatible blockchain aimed at pushing the performance of Ethereum L2 to the hardware limits, narrowing the gap between blockchain and traditional cloud computing servers. MegaETH features several notable characteristics, including high transaction throughput, ample computing power, and claims to achieve millisecond-level response times even under heavy loads.
The financing lineup for MegaETH is impressive. In June, MegaETH developer MegaLabs announced the completion of a $20 million seed round, led by Dragonfly, with participation from Figment Capital, Robot Ventures, Big Brain Holdings, and angel investors including Vitalik Buterin, ConsenSys founder Joseph Lubin, EigenLayer founder Sreeram Kannan, and ETHGlobal co-founder Kartik Talwar. Additionally, in December, MegaLabs completed a $10 million financing through the Echo platform. Both rounds of financing were valued at "nine figures."
To support developers and ecosystem builders, MegaETH has also launched the 10x builder program MegaMafia, focusing on the following builders:
- Building Dapps from scratch
- Creating fully on-chain Dapps
- Long-term Dapp development
Currently, MegaMafia covers 13 projects, along with 15 projects that are built on MegaETH or plan to integrate MegaETH but are not yet part of MegaMafia. Here are the details of the related projects:
