Thank you, thank you all, thank you very much. Thank you very, very much. Vice President Vance, Speaker of the House Johnson, Senator Toon, Chief Justice Roberts, and the Justices of the Supreme Court of the United States.

President Clinton, President Bush, President Obama, President Biden, Vice President Harris, and my fellow Americans, the golden age of America begins now.

From this day forward, our country will prosper again and regain respect around the world. We will be the envy of every nation, and we will no longer allow ourselves to be bullied.

Every day of the Trump administration, I will put America first.

Our sovereignty will be reclaimed. Our security will be restored. The scales of justice will be rebalanced. The weaponization of the Department of Justice and our government against the wicked, violent, and unjust will come to an end.

Our top priority is to build a proud, prosperous, and free nation. America will soon be greater, stronger, and more exceptional than ever before.

I return to the presidency with confident optimism, believing that we are at the beginning of an exciting new era of national success. A wave of change is sweeping across the nation, and the sun is shining on the world, giving America an unprecedented opportunity to seize this moment.

But first, we must honestly face the challenges we face. While there are many challenges, they will be destroyed by the great momentum that America is currently witnessing.

As we gather here today, our government is facing a crisis of trust. For years, a radical and corrupt system has seized power and wealth from our citizens, while the pillars of our society have crumbled and seem completely broken.

Our current government cannot even handle a simple domestic crisis while it is embroiled in one disastrous event after another overseas.

It has failed to protect our great law-abiding American citizens while providing shelter and protection to dangerous criminals, many of whom come from prisons and mental institutions, illegally entering our country from around the world. Our government provides unlimited funding to protect foreign borders but refuses to protect our borders, or more importantly, protect our own people.

Our nation can no longer provide basic services in emergencies, as recently demonstrated by the great people of North Carolina. They have been treated so poorly. And several other states are still suffering months after hurricanes struck.

Or more recently in Los Angeles, we are witnessing wildfires that continue to rage mercilessly. They have swept through homes and communities unprepared for weeks, even affecting some of our nation's wealthiest and most powerful individuals, some of whom are sitting right here. They are now homeless. It’s quite ironic.

But we cannot allow this to happen. No one can do anything about it. This will change. We have a public health system that does not work in times of disaster, yet we spend more on this system than any other country in the world.

And we have an education system that, in many cases, teaches our children to feel shame and hate for our country, despite our desperate attempts to give them love. Starting today, all of this will change, and it will change very quickly.

My recent election is a mission to completely reverse a terrible betrayal and all the betrayals that have occurred, to return to the people their faith, wealth, democracy, and freedom.

From this moment on, the decline of America is over.

Our freedom and the glorious destiny of our nation will no longer be denied. We will immediately restore the integrity, capability, and loyalty of the American government.

In the past eight years, I have faced more trials and challenges than any president in our 250-year history. In the process, I have learned a lot. I can tell you that reviving our republic will not be easy.

Those who want to stop our cause have tried to take away my freedom, even to take my life.

Just a few months ago, on those beautiful Pennsylvania fields, a bullet from an assassin passed through my ear. But at that moment, I felt, and now I am even more convinced, that my life was saved for a reason. I was saved by God to make America great again.

Thank you, thank you very much.

That is why, under the management of our American patriots, every day we will face every crisis with dignity, strength, and power.

We will bring back hope, prosperity, security, and peace for every citizen of every race, religion, color, and belief with purposeful action and swift steps. For American citizens, January 20, 2025, is Liberation Day.

I hope our recent presidential election will be remembered as the greatest and most impactful election in our nation's history.

As our victory indicates, the nation is rapidly uniting under our agenda, with support rising significantly across almost all social strata: whether young or old, male or female, African American, Hispanic American, Asian American, whether in urban, suburban, or rural areas, and more importantly, we achieved strong victories in all seven swing states, winning the popular vote by millions.

To the Black and Hispanic communities, I want to thank you for the tremendous love and trust you expressed to me with your votes. We set records, and I will not forget any of this.

I heard your voices during the campaign, and I look forward to working with you in the years to come. Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, a great honor. In his memory, we will work together to make his dream a reality. We will fulfill his dream.

National unity is returning to America, and confidence and pride are at an unprecedented high. In everything we do, my government will be driven by a strong pursuit of excellence and relentless success.

We will not forget our country, we will not forget our Constitution, we will not forget our God. We cannot do that.

Today I will sign a series of historic executive orders. Through these actions, we will begin the full restoration of America and launch a revolution of common sense. It’s all about common sense.

First, I will declare a national emergency at our southern border. All illegal immigration will stop immediately, and we will begin to send millions of criminal aliens back to their home countries.

We will restore my "Remain in Mexico" policy. I will end the practice of "catch and release." At the same time, I will send troops to the southern border to stop the catastrophic invasion of our country.

Under the orders I am signing today, we will also designate these drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations.

By invoking the Alien Enemies Act of 1798, I will direct our government to use the full power of federal and state law enforcement to eliminate the presence of all foreign criminal gang networks that bring devastating crime to American soil, including our cities and downtowns.

As Commander in Chief, my highest duty is to defend our nation from threats and invasions, and that is exactly what I will do. We will accomplish this task at an unprecedented level.

Next, I will instruct all cabinet members to mobilize the vast powers at their disposal to overcome record inflation and rapidly reduce costs and prices. The inflation crisis is caused by massive overspending and soaring energy prices.

That is why today I will also declare a national energy emergency. We will "drill, baby, drill."

America will once again become a manufacturing nation, and we have something that no other manufacturing nation has: the largest oil and gas reserves on Earth, and we will use it. We will utilize it.

We will lower prices, refill the strategic reserves to the top, and export American energy to the world.

We will once again be a wealthy nation, and the liquid gold beneath our feet will help achieve that goal.

Through my actions today, we will end the Green New Deal, we will rescind the electric vehicle mandate, save our auto industry, and fulfill my sacred commitment to the great American auto workers.

In other words, you will be able to buy the car of your choice. We will manufacture cars in America again at a speed that no one could have imagined just a few years ago. Thanks to the auto workers of our nation for your inspiring vote of confidence. We performed exceptionally well because of their votes.

I will immediately begin a comprehensive reform of our trade system to protect American workers and families. We will impose tariffs and taxes on foreign goods to benefit our citizens, rather than taxing our citizens to benefit other countries.

To this end, we are establishing the External Revenue Service to collect all tariffs, taxes, and revenues. This will bring a massive influx of funds from abroad into our treasury.

The American Dream will soon return and will prosper like never before. To restore the capacity and efficiency of the federal government, my administration will establish a brand new Department of Government Efficiency.

After years of the federal government illegally and unconstitutionally restricting free speech, I will also sign an executive order to immediately stop all government censorship and restore free speech in America.

The immense power of the state will no longer be weaponized to persecute political opponents, and I know this well. We will not allow this to happen. This will not happen again.

Under my leadership, we will restore fairness, equality, and justice under the rule of law of the Constitution. We will bring law and order back to our cities.

This week, I will also end the government's attempts to incorporate race and gender into every aspect of public and private life. We will create a society that is colorblind and merit-based.

Starting today, the official policy of the American government will state that there are only two genders: male and female.

This week, I will reappoint all military personnel who were unjustly dismissed for opposing the COVID vaccine mandate and will fully compensate them for their lost wages.

I will sign an order to stop our warriors from being forced to undergo radical political theories and social experiments while on duty. This will end immediately. Our armed forces will focus on their sole mission: defeating America's enemies.

Just like in 2017, we will once again build the strongest military in the world. Our success will not only be measured by how many battles we win but also by how many wars we end, and perhaps most importantly, by how many wars we do not get involved in.

My proudest legacy will be as a peacemaker and unifier. That is who I want to be, a peacemaker and unifier. I am pleased to announce that as of yesterday, on the day before I took office, hostages in the Middle East are returning to their families. Thank you.

America will regain its rightful place as the greatest, strongest, and most respected nation on Earth, inspiring awe and admiration around the world. Soon, we will rename the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America.

We will restore the name of the great President William McKinley to Mount McKinley, where it should be and belongs. President McKinley made our nation very wealthy through tariffs and talent. He was a natural businessman who funded many of the great things that Teddy Roosevelt did, including the Panama Canal, which was later foolishly handed over to the country of Panama.

I mean, think about it, America spent unprecedented amounts of money building the Panama Canal and sacrificed 38,000 lives. We were treated very unfairly for this foolish gift that should never have been made.

Panama has broken its promise to us. The purpose of our agreement and the spirit of the treaty have been completely violated. American ships are charged exorbitant fees and are not treated fairly at all. This includes the U.S. Navy… we will reclaim it.

Most importantly, what I want to say to the American people today is that it is time for us to act with the courage, vitality, and energy of the greatest civilization in history once again. Therefore, as we liberate our nation, we will lead it to new heights of victory and success. We will not be intimidated.

Together, we will end the epidemic of chronic disease, keeping our children safe, healthy, and free from illness.

America will once again see itself as a nation in constant development, a nation that increases our wealth, expands our territory, builds our cities, elevates our expectations, and carries our flag toward new and beautiful horizons.

We will pursue our manifest destiny, reaching for the stars, sending American astronauts to Mars, and planting the Stars and Stripes on Mars.

Ambition is the lifeblood of great nations. And now, our country is more ambitious than any other. No nation can compare to ours. Americans are explorers, builders, innovators, entrepreneurs, and pioneers. The pioneering spirit is ingrained in our hearts.

The call for the next great adventure echoes from the depths of our souls. Our American ancestors transformed a small group of colonies on the edge of a vast continent into a powerful republic of the most extraordinary citizens on Earth. Unmatched.

Americans traversed thousands of miles of rugged wilderness. They crossed deserts, climbed mountains, faced dangers, conquered the wild West, ended slavery, rescued millions from tyranny, lifted billions out of poverty, harnessed electricity, split atoms, sent humanity to the heavens, and placed the universe of human knowledge in the hands of mankind.

If we work together, there is nothing we cannot do and no dream we cannot achieve.

Many thought it impossible for me to stage such a historic political comeback. But as you see today, I did it. The American people have spoken.

I stand before you now to prove that you should never believe that some things are impossible. In America, the impossible is what we do best.

From New York to Los Angeles, from Philadelphia to Phoenix, from Chicago to Miami, from Houston to here in Washington, D.C., our nation has been forged and built by generations of patriots who gave everything for our rights and freedoms.

They are farmers and soldiers, cowboys and factory workers, steelworkers and coal miners, police officers and pioneers, who pressed on, moving forward, not allowing any obstacle to defeat their spirit or pride.

They laid the railroads together, built skyscrapers, constructed great highways, won two world wars, defeated fascism… overcoming every challenge they faced.

After we have all experienced this together, we are about to enter the greatest four years in American history. With your help, we will restore America's promise, and we will rebuild the country we love.

We are one nation, one family, a glorious country under God’s protection. So, to every parent dreaming for their children, and to every child dreaming for the future, I stand with you, I will fight for you, I will win for you. We will achieve unprecedented victories.

In recent years, our nation has suffered tremendous hardships. But we will restore it and make it great again, more glorious than ever before. We will become an unparalleled nation, filled with compassion, courage, and excellence.

Our strength will stop all wars and bring a new spirit of unity to this angry, violent, and completely unpredictable world.

America will once again be respected and admired, including by people of faith and goodwill. We will prosper, we will be proud, we will be incredibly strong, and we will win like never before.

We will not be conquered, we will not be threatened, we will not be crushed, we will not fail. From this day forward, the United States of America will be a free, sovereign, and independent nation.
