This development comes as the on-chain total value of real-world assets (RWAs) has doubled over the past year, approaching $17 billion, making it one of the fastest-growing sectors in Web3.
Plume Network's SkyLink is an interoperability solution designed to enable secure cross-chain RWA yield distribution. SkyLink will launch on the first batch of supported networks, including Solana, Movement, Injective, Omni Network, Zircuit, Ape Chain, Core, Polyhedra, Gravity by Galxe, Merlin, Xion, Rome, Echelon, D3, Hemi, and Memento.
With SkyLink's mirrored YieldToken, users on these networks can now access institutional-grade RWA yields without permission, with these yields flowing directly to their wallets. This solution leverages LayerZero's SyncPools technology to achieve seamless full-chain functionality.
Notably, the mirrored tokens introduced by SkyLink ensure that the total locked value (TVL) is securely retained on the original chain, maintaining liquidity while enhancing the value of each network.

The integration of SkyLink with LayerZero enables a unified liquidity pool, supporting cross-chain minting and burning functions, allowing for seamless issuance and redemption of YieldToken across multiple chains while retaining Plume's advantages in asset custody and compliance infrastructure.
