According to informed sources, Elon Musk has initiated discussions on using blockchain technology within the newly established U.S. Department of Government Efficiency. This is the latest sign of the Trump administration's desire to boost the digital asset industry.

A source who requested anonymity due to the confidential nature of the discussions stated that Musk, who is leading the effort to improve government efficiency, has proposed the idea of using digital ledgers to reduce government costs to close allies. The source mentioned that discussions have included using blockchain to track federal spending, protect data, facilitate payments, and even manage buildings.

A knowledgeable source stated that personnel from the Department of Government Efficiency have already met with representatives from several public blockchains to assess their technologies.
