Standing at the point of 2011

Standing at the point of 2011, the number of people who could predict the success of electric vehicles was absolutely few, especially among those in finance and management.

I also conducted research on an electric vehicle company back then, and of course, this company was quite poor. This conclusion was not wrong, but at that time, the anxiety over battery range was a common issue, and the so-called environmental friendliness was actually not very friendly…

This is actually due to outsiders not understanding technological progress well enough. Battery technology will eventually improve to the point where there is no range anxiety, and the shortcomings of electric vehicles become insignificant in the face of their huge advantages (simple design, ease of making them smart and autonomous). Perhaps more importantly, there is a consensus, with the government and many companies investing together.

New technologies may seem trivial, but they might just emerge. They should not be overestimated, but they should not be underestimated either.

Examples that have not emerged include: IoT, blockchain 😂
