Kaitlyn Siragusa, a popular online streamer and content creator known as Amouranth, said that she was nearly robbed of her crypto on Sunday after three armed men broke into her Texas home.

“They gave me my phone and said ‘log in’ with a gun to my head,” the Houston-based creative recalled in a post on X (formerly known as Twitter). Siragusa wrote that she was “covered in blood.”

Siragusa had warned hours before that she was actively being “robbed at gunpoint,” emphasizing the call for help was “not a prank” to her 3.8 million followers on the platform.

While Siragusa confirmed that she is safe, the claimed home invasion represents the latest example of criminals using real-world violence to obtain digital funds. In the U.S. and United Kingdom, several arrests were connected to deadly crypto robberies last year.

Around 11 p.m. local time, the Houston Police Department responded to a 911 call from Siragusa directing authorities to her suburban home, a spokesperson told Decrypt

The 31-year-old streamer stated that she was asleep when three unknown males entered the residence by shooting a patio window and then kicking in the bedroom door.

Siragusa stated that the suspects demanded access to her cryptocurrency account but were unable to access the funds. She was subsequently pistol-whipped and then led the suspects to an area where her husband was, according to the police spokesperson.

Upon encountering the suspects, Siragusa’s husband fired one shot at them using his own weapon. According to Siragusa’s complaint, she believes one suspect was struck before they all fled on foot. Siragusa was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Security camera footage later posted by Siragusa on X shows her leading three men in black hoodies to a section of her Texas home. After three shots ring out, the three men appear to flee the building, scrambling toward the nearest street.

“I just got shot,” one man says while holding his arm.

Siragusa signaled on X in January that she had earned $57 million through OnlyFans over the past four years. On the platform that connects content creators with paying subscribers, who often seek adult content, she ranked within the top 0.01% of all creators at the time.

Siragusa has leveraged her online following, which includes 6.7 million followers on the video game streaming platform Twitch, to promote various extensions of her content creation brand.

In 2023, she launched a self-themed bot using artificial intelligence for virtual dates and conversation. Months later, she introduced a beer crafted using her own vaginal bacteria.

In November, Siragusa flashed a screen grab on X showing a Coinbase account with $20 million in Bitcoin and $79,500 in Ethereum. “Do I sell or hold my BTC?” she pondered at the time.

In a subsequent post, Siragusa said that police are testing a trail of blood emanating from the driveway of her home. The police spokesperson told Decrypt that authorities are actively investigating the matter but declined to say whether any suspects had been identified.

Decrypt reached out to Siragusa for comment but did not immediately receive a response.
