The globalization promoted by the UK is a colonial model. As British hegemony wanes and shifts to the US, the globalization system led by the UK is collapsing, while the US has taken the lead in a new globalization system: the United Nations, the US dollar, and the WTO.

Now this system is being abandoned by the US, and the reason is quite simple: American hegemony is beginning to decline.

So we are at a significant historical turning point; the old globalization system is disintegrating, while the new system is still far from taking shape.

Perhaps for a long time in the future, the world will remain in a state of division, depending on how much the US can avoid a rapid decline. If the US can implement some reforms through this global extraction, then as a regional power, it may still exist for a long time, and the world will experience a prolonged state of division.
