Asset management firm Bitwise announced on April 16 that it had listed four of its Germany-issued crypto exchange-traded products (ETPs) on the London Stock Exchange (LSE), further expanding its presence across Europe. The move enhances access to its institutional-grade digital asset offerings for qualified investors in the United Kingdom. The company stated:

Bitwise adds London as trading hub for four of its European products, providing access to its best-in-class crypto ETPs for UK professional investors.

Bradley Duke, Managing Director and Head of Bitwise Europe, commented on the listings: “I am very pleased to see the debut listings of Bitwise products on the London Stock Exchange, one of Europe’s most esteemed trading venues.” He added: “Investing in crypto is rapidly becoming mainstream and institutional investors increasingly allocate digital assets to their portfolios.”

The four ETPs now available for trading in London are the Bitwise Core Bitcoin ETP (BTC1), the Bitwise Physical Bitcoin ETP (BTCE), the Bitwise Physical Ethereum ETP (ZETH), and the Bitwise Ethereum Staking ETP (ET32).

The Core Bitcoin ETP is designed for strategic investors seeking cost-effective exposure, while the Physical Bitcoin ETP is among Europe’s most liquid bitcoin instruments, commonly used by traders and short- to mid-term investors. On the Ethereum side, the ZETH product provides cold-storage-backed exposure to ethereum, and ET32 offers staking rewards and benchmarking to help assess performance.

Following its acquisition of ETC Group in 2024, Bitwise has accelerated product development and expanded distribution across major European markets. Its ETPs are structured similarly to exchange-traded commodities, backed by physical crypto assets held in institutional-grade cold storage, and safeguarded by an independent trustee to reduce issuer risk. Bitwise products trade on regulated exchanges and can be integrated into standard investment accounts, eliminating the need for a crypto wallet. With professional investor access now broadened through the LSE, Bitwise continues to position itself as a leading provider of secure and transparent crypto investment solutions.
