Ricardo Salinas Pliego, the fifth-largest billionaire in Mexico, has offered major investment advice to his followers on X, which unsurprisingly includes bitcoin. Salinas, who owns TV Azteca and Grupo Electra, advised against real estate investments and encouraged considering bitcoin instead. “Investing in REAL ESTATE is a BAD INVESTMENT!!! Don’t be fooled; real estate is NOT a good investment,” he stated, urging potential investors to stay away from these opportunities. “Buying a house to live in is an expense, and buying a house or apartment to rent is bullshit. Invest in Bitcoin instead,” the billionaire concluded, noting that this advice might help anyone belong to the 0.000037% of the world’s population.
