This time, the retail data isn't bad and is within expectations; it should be considered a fairly good figure. However, after the retail data was released, the price of $BTC has been fluctuating. Then, at 10 PM Beijing time, the preliminary value of the U.S. August one-year inflation rate was announced by the University of Michigan.

This data had previously caused a stir, but later it was deemed too exaggerated, so the market chose to indirectly ignore it. The past two months have been slightly better, but today's sudden significant increase was surprising: the previous value was 4.5%, the expected value was 4.4%, and the announced value was 4.9%. In fact, this data isn't that powerful, but so many predictions of rising inflation have raised market concerns.

Currently, the market isn't worried about a rate cut in September; the odds of a rate cut in September are still very high. However, many U.S. stock traders have changed their bets from three rate cuts in 2025 to two rate cuts, and some pessimistic investors even believe there might only be one rate cut in 2025.

I don't know the specific situation, but I still believe that the current game isn't dominated by macro data but by Trump. Let's see what Trump has in store next.
