Pantera Solana Project Could Become World’s Largest Crypto Treasury

Pantera Capital is preparing to launch a new Solana-focused treasury company in the U.S., according to The Information. The project, named Solana Co., will start with a $500 million raise, followed by another $750 million through warrant issuance.

If the Pantera Solana project is completed, it could become the largest Solana-Fund in the world. Just the day before, Galaxy digital, Jump Crypto, and Multicoin Capital also announced a $1 billion raising plan for the Solana-treasury .

These mass accumulation visions show that the currency is gradually becoming the choice of the organisational interest, after bitcoin and Etereum. Currently, public companies hold about 3.44 million SOL, worth roughly $650 million.

With this mass adoption can we expect the currency to break previous rates barriers and set a new all time high, as it is currency trading near $188.

Pantera’s Wider Portfolio

In the recent, the company revealed that it had invested over $300M in Digital Asset Treasury (DAT) companies and also joined Sharps Technology’s $400M private funding, under its confidence that DATs can generate yield and grow token holdings faster than simply buying tokens or ETFs.

Beyond Pantera solana aim, its DAT investment already includes Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB, Toncoin, Hyperliquid, Sui, and Ethena, with treasury firms spread globally. The company currently manages $4.8 billion in assets and has a history of being first to market with crypto funds.

Setting a New Benchmark for Both

Pantera was the first in the U.S. to launch a cryptocurrency fund in 2013, followed by blockchain venture and early stage token funds. The new Pantera Solana treasury plan could set a milestone for both the institutional adoption and altcoin rallies. So, let’s see if it will achieve it or before another big announcement takes place like what happened with the $1 billion plan of the three major groups.
