Boston Blockchain Week 2025 brings together leaders from Coinbase, Figment, Arrington Capital, and Fidelity Investments for five days of programming across Greater Boston.
Boston, MA – September 2, 2025 – With one week to go, Boston is gearing up for the most expansive and inclusive edition of Boston Blockchain Week (BBW) yet. Running September 9–13, BBW will convene over 500 founders, investors, academics, and technologists across Quincy and Cambridge for five days of programming at the intersection of blockchain, AI, and digital infrastructure.
Organized by QUBIC Labs in collaboration with Boston DAO, DeSci Boston, and the Boston Blockchain Association, this year’s theme—“Where Blockchain Meets AI”—threads through keynotes, panels, startup showcases, and fireside chats featuring more than 100 speakers from around the globe.
Featured voices include leaders from Coinbase, Figment, Castle Island Ventures, the Digital Chamber, Greyscale, and Harvard Blockchain, alongside leaders shaping technology, governance, capital markets, and culture. Abigail P. Johnson, Chair and CEO of Fidelity Investments, will join the program for a fireside chat as part of the week’s broader dialogue on digital infrastructure, policy, and innovation.
The event is backed by a powerhouse coalition of sponsors, including the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative, FoxRock Properties, XDC Foundation, Coinbase, Figment, Arrington Capital, a100x, Goodwin, Silicon Valley Bank, Wolf & Company, BDO, Bentley University, Dash, Flipside Crypto, and the City of Quincy—which made history in 2024 with the nation’s first municipal bond offering on blockchain.
Boston Blockchain Week also features a $44,000 startup pitch competition hosted by Ga^3in Ventures, offering one of the largest non-dilutive awards in the region for early-stage founders building in blockchain, AI, and decentralized infrastructure. A range of side events—sponsored by community partners and ecosystem collaborators—will also take place throughout the week.
“This is what a real ecosystem looks like—builders, investors, public partners, and institutions coming together to drive change,” said Ian Cain, Executive Chair of BBW and Co-Founder of QUBIC Labs. “Boston Blockchain Week isn’t just about technology—it’s about creating the conditions for lasting impact.”
BBW All-Access Passes are still available, including entry to all official programming from September 9–13. Single-day passes for ETHBoston, Solana Boston, and DeSci Boston (Sept 12–13) are also available.
